Great site, should end a lot of arguments I've had with friends about trades.

Maybe you keepon updating the list with what happens to the conditional or future draft picks?

Well, it I can find a good list from a draft history site that actually says (acquired from a previous trade) next to the team that is drafting, then for sure I'll do that. But I know hockey database does not have that.

I'll keep searching around, because I love seeing a team make a steal of a draft over some putz they unloaded off their payroll.

The times that I could list who the team eventually picked was because I already had that on file. The info from this site was originally done by a man named Tom King years ago, but his site was terminated.

Thanks for the input, and I'll do my best to fill in the eventual picks.

i have some information on a couple of off-season signings from 1998 if you are interested. your list occasionally misses some players' former teams (before signing with the new team). by the way, great site!

Where are the trades at the entry draft? Florida traded their first overall to San Jose for Viktor Kozlov, who then traded it to Tampa Bay. Not sure who for, but that first overall pick was Lecavlier.
